We’re so excited to kick off this year’s auditions and discover new talent for our dance crews and teams!
Led by this year’s Koreafest 2nd and 3rd place winning teams, DIA continues to provide high-level training, performance opportunities, and a supportive dance community.

This year, we are hosting auditions earlier than usual to better prepare for the upcoming season’s competitions, performances, and training schedule. Early auditions will allow teams more time to train, bond, and develop stronger sets throughout the year.

No audition is required for DIA Kids, Diamonds I, or Radiate. Registration opens in July.

Team Requirements

Diamond Team C (NEW)

Intermediate pre-teen team • Ages 11–14 • Minimum 2 years dance experience

Radiate Team C

Intermediate teen team • Ages 14–18 • Minimum 2 years dance experience

Radiate Crew

Advanced teen competition team • Ages 14–18 • Minimum 3 years dance experience

DIA Fam

Intermediate adult team • Ages 18+ • Minimum 2 years dance experience

DIA Crew

Professional-level competition team • Ages 18+ • Minimum 4 years dance experience

General Requirements

Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and able to communicate well within a group environment.

  *DIA Fam members can commit to short seasons such as Summer (Jun–Sep), Fall–Winter (Sep–Dec), or Spring–Summer (Jan–Jun).

  *The previous season’s members do not need to audition for the next season but must complete the registration form and pay a $15 registration fee.

What’s new?

This year, we are excited to introduce our new Diamond Team C program, designed to help dancers prepare for competitions and continue their growth beyond the recreational level.

To further enhance training for our Radiate Team C, Radiate Crew and DIA Crew dancers, monthly master classes will be held on Sundays during their regular rehearsal times. These master classes are included as part of our dancer development program, providing members with additional opportunities to train with professional dancers and expand their skills. One monthly master class is included in Radiate Team C and Radiate Crew. Two monthly master classes are included in DIA Crew.

Dance team directors and choreographers

Jessica Suo: Jessica is the owner and director of DIA Dance Studio, overseeing creative direction, production concepts, and costume ideas while helping create opportunities for dancers to grow.

Kira Takei: Kira leads DIA’s main competition teams as a choreographer and director. With over 10 years of dance experience, she is also a DIA Faculty Instructor and DIA Crew leader. In 2026, Kira earned 1st Place in the KFest Solo Division.

Violet Hudson: Violet will direct DIA Fam K-Pop this upcoming season and contributes creative ideas and team development within the studio. She is also a DIA Faculty Instructor and DIA Crew board member.

• DIA FAM: $320

• Diamond Team C, Radiate Team C, Radiate Crew: $600

• DIA Crew: $350

• Tuition is listed as the full payment for the season (September 6 – December 19).

• Installment payments are available through Square using Afterpay. A 6% processing fee applies to all installment payments. Please check Payment option below for details.

• Costume fees are not included.

• All payment needs to be made by 8/31/26.
